Rachel is a certified Yoga Educator through YogaEd and a yoga instructor (RYT - 200) who brings her love of yoga and kids together to create a program that allows kids to have fun while learning essential life skills. Her goal is to teach kids the tools they need to calm anxiety, relax their mind, gain self-confidence, and self-regulate emotions, all through healthy active play. The best part of teaching is watching the absolute joy of the children as they use creative energy and imaginations to bring the poses to life, dancing and playing, all while learning techniques for balance, strength, focus and stress reduction. 

In her spare time, Rachel is a mom to two active boys and she enjoys spending time with her family hiking, paddleboarding, and exploring nature.




As both a certified yoga teacher (RYT 200) and elementary school teacher, Karen loves helping kids. Through the use of movement, breathing techniques, stillness, and play, she helps her students develop confidence and the ability to calm and control their energy and emotions. Yoga is a great way to introduce the concepts of gratitude, community, and kindness, and Karen tries to emphasize these qualities in her classes. She strives to make each class a fun and positive experience. Her goal is to help every child find ways to feel happy and fit in both body and mind.


In addition to teaching, Karen is a wife and mom of two who enjoys being outdoors, playing games, reading, and spending time with family.




Sarah is a Yoga Instructor (RYT - 200) who received her certification in 2013. She believes that yoga provides connection to oneself and one’s community. Providing these connections to children teaches kindness, compassion, self control, and self-acceptance...all while having fun!

Sarah is also a mother of 3 boys. She volunteers her time in the classroom, enjoys spending time with friends in the local community, and entertaining loved ones and guests in her home.

I thrive being outside in nature and playing with kids. After regularly practicing yoga for six years, I earned my Kidding Around Yoga (KAY) Teacher Certification. Because yoga is so beneficial to my well-being and physical strength, I enjoy teaching kids yoga to promote their well-being. Naturally, I integrate nature into breath work, align-the-spine movement, play, and relaxing mindfulness. Kids relate with many yoga poses like tree, cat, and airplane pose and their creative minds make it fun to explore them. Yoga tunes kids into their own nature: how they hear, feel, see, smell, taste, and think. I strive to inspire kids to shine and be kind both to themselves and to others.


My other passions are eating from the garden, teaching families all about nature, climbing trees with my cat, hiking, drawing, laughing, and story-telling. My true purpose is to connect people to the earth where they connect to their own inner self; and so I created Within Our Nature, outdoor experiences for kids and families.
